Ring in the evening with a guided snowshoe hike on Laufböden and end the day with a fondue under the open sky.

Enjoy a guided snowshoe hike in the wonderful winter landscape on the Pizol. The route leads away from the hustle and bustle through the snow-covered landscape across the Pizol high plateau and guarantees an unforgettable view on a clear day! On the way, participants can expect an aperitif in the middle of nature. Back at Laufboden, the offer includes a fondue under the open sky, on the restaurant terrace of the Laufbodenstübli. After the fondue there is a guided hike from Laufbodenstübli to Pardiel (Walking time approx. 1.5 hours).

The gondola Bad Ragaz is in operation from 08:15 - 16:45 and from 18:00 - 22:30.

Requirements

Also suitable for beginners. Hiking time with breaks approx. 2-3 hours. Approx. +200 / -600 meters altitude difference.

Equipment

Winter-proof warm clothing, onion clothing, gloves, hat/cap, backpack, sturdy winter or hiking boots, snowshoes, poles, headlamp.

Snowshoes and poles can be rented for CHF 15.00 at the Pardiel Rent on Pardiel. If you want to rent equipment, you have to pick it up at the Rental Shop on Pardiel and then go to the chairlift Pardiel-Laufböden.

Meeting point

3.45 p.m. at the Bad Ragaz mountain station at the Edelweiss panorama restaurant.

Costs

CHF 50.00 incl. hike, aperitif and fondue (drinks not included). This amount is to be paid directly at the meeting point. Excl. mountain railway ticket. For participants of the moonlight snowshoe hike a ticket Bad Ragaz - Laufböden return is available for CHF 24.50 at the ticket office at the valley station.

A reservation via info@pizol.com or +41 (0) 78 759 44 55 until 12:00 no later than the day before is required.

The snowshoe tour will take place on an alternative route in certain weather conditions (heavy fog, wind or similar). The decision is made by the tour leader.
