Ready for a bike event with a view? In the Pizol area on Pardiel (1633 m. a.s.l.), the "E-Bike Spektakel Pizol" will take place for the second time this year on 17 June 2023.
Description
Whether with a regular mountain bike or an e-bike, everyone is welcome. Those who are not in possession of their own bike can rent a suitable vehicle at the e-bike station in Bad Ragaz.
In addition to the wonderful, signposted route and official Switzerland-Mobility Route 474, an expo awaits visitors on Pardiel. There you will find all kinds of novelties and interesting information from representatives of the industry. Delicacies and handmade products will also be on offer at a small alpine market. Food and drink will be available in the mountain restaurant, where the sun terraces invite you to relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Musical entertainment will be provided by Stefan Roos (GIG) and the Heidiland alphorn formation.
Route
The signposted route winds along the official Switzerland Mobile Route 474 through cosy forests from Bad Ragaz to Pardiel at 1633 m above sea level.
When the trees open up, you can catch a glimpse of the Gonzen, Falknis and Regitzer Spitz. This route leads from Bad Ragaz to Pardiel on a moderately steep and easily rideable small mountain road. From the Wildboden/Schwamm level, the forests gradually clear to reveal a breathtaking mountain panorama.
Charging station
There is a charging station for e-bikes at the Edelweiss Panorama Restaurant.
Guests without a bike
Guests who want to conquer the altitude without a bike can take the Bad Ragaz cable car. Betriebszeiten

End of the event and latest return journey with the Bad Ragaz gondola lift. Guests with a bike can take it on the gondola lift free of charge.
