Operation temporarily stopped
Following the latest decisions by the authorities, it is now clear: Pizolbahnen AG will also have to stop operations from 22 December 2020.
Status: 19 December 2020 / 8.00 p.m.
Dear Pizol friends
Unfortunately, the situation that we wanted to avoid with the wide-ranging protective measures has now occurred. The canton of St. Gallen ordered the closure of the St. Gallen ski areas on 19 December 2020. This was due to the Corona pandemic and the tense situation in the hospitals. Due to this decree of the St. Gallen authorities, we have to stop operations from Tuesday, 22 December 2020. In the Pizolbahnen operations alone, 158 employees are now unexpectedly saying goodbye to their Christmas holidays.
The last day of operations before the closure will be Monday, 21 December 2020. Last descent from Pardiel / Furt at 16.45. After that, we will no longer be allowed to transport passengers.
- All restaurants will be closed from 22 December 2020 until at least 22 January 2021 due to the latest measures from the Federal Council.
- Subscription refunds will not be considered until a later date in accordance with pandemic coverage.
- The office will not be staffed from 22 December 2020. We will try to process enquiries via email to firstname.lastname@example.org as quickly as possible.
Many questions are not yet fully clarified at the moment. Various clarifications are underway. We ask for your patience and will keep you updated on our website and social media channels.
We wish you happy holidays and look forward to welcoming you back to the Pizol soon. Stay healthy!
See you soon on the mountain again,
Your Pizolbahnen AG
