Tour description
We take the gondola lift from Bad Ragaz to Pardiel. There we follow the forest path along the beautiful Edelweiss plaques until we reach the top station of the "Schwamm" chairlift (winter only). We now have the strenuous ascent behind us and follow the path to the Suntigweidsee lake.
Here the beach chairs invite you to linger or we walk past the lake and then along the hiking trail to the next fork in the trail (wooden signpost). Here we take the trail to the right towards the valley and then towards the Schwarzbüel viewpoint. The view towards the Churfirsten, the Rhine Valley and the Bündner Herrschaft is stunning. Now we walk back along the trail towards Pardiel. We are sure to come across a goat or two on the way. In Pardiel, we take the cable car back down to the valley.
