This hike leads along old alpine paths, goat drives and wild mountain streams, quiet forests and secluded resting places.
A short hike from the Maienberg middle station of the Pizolbahnen, which can be done almost all year round.
Route: Maienberg middle station (Wangs) - Hosangg - Geissgass - Weidbünte - Gaspurweg - Gartinis - Maienberg (optional with additional loop Schönbühl / Valeis)
The hike is recommended in a clockwise direction and offers an insight into the old paths and working conditions of our ancestors in the Alps. The tour is marked blue-yellow-blue throughout (in the colors of the Wangs coat of arms) In the middle section "Hosangg", the path through the "white wall" is secured with a steel cable, otherwise the tour offers no special difficulties. The ascent through the Geissgass is somewhat steep over a short section, but always easy to walk on. Hiking boots with a good profile are recommended.
