Circular hike with unique views of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona. The highlight: the breathtaking panoramic view and the Grand Tour of Switzerland photo spot.

Winter hiking on the Pizol is a unique panoramic experience in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona. Once you reach the Pizol high plateau at over 2,000 m above sea level by chairlift, you can enjoy a very special kind of mountain panorama. The view extends from the striking Churfirsten peaks on Lake Walen, across the St. Gallen Rhine Valley to Lake Constance and the neighboring mountains of Graubünden and Liechtenstein.

The 3 km long circular hiking trail Pizol Panorama Höhenweg stretches between Laufböden and the Pizolhütte. It offers unique insights into the UNESCO World Heritage Site with exciting information boards. The high plateau is like a naturally formed grandstand in front of the Tectonic Arena and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley all the way to Lake Constance.
