How to buy tickets

  1. Select the desired ticket and date and add the corresponding person type to the shopping cart.

    Note for single trips: Single trips are valid until the end of the respective season. Tickets at the local/student fare require a corresponding document to be uploaded for verification. A half-fare/GA reduction on single journeys is only possible in the webshop with the red SwissPass card. Other tickets and discounts are available at the ticket offices.

    Note on day and half-day tickets: Day and half-day tickets in our webshop are weather-dependent. This means that the price is calculated up to 7 days in advance based on the weather data from SRF Meteo and you may benefit from discounted tickets. From 08:00 on the day of validity, the regular webshop price applies again.

  2. Check ticket and validity in the shopping cart. To continue with the order, you have the following options here:
    Voucher: Don't have a Pizol subscription card yet? Then choose the "Voucher" option. You will receive a voucher after completing your order, which you can exchange for a ticket later at the ticket office or at the ticket machine at the valley stations.Top up your ticket: Do you already have a chip card from Pizol, for example a day or season ticket? Then select "Top up ticket" and enter the 15-digit WTP number. This can be found on the day pass in the white section at the bottom and on the back of the season pass in a white field at the top left (see illustration on the right). There is no "O" in the WTP number, it is always "0" (= zero).

    SwissPass:
    You can also load your ticket onto your SwissPass (red card only). To do this, you must agree to the terms of use and enter your ID (number on the back of the SwissPass card) and your zip code.

    Note for locals/students: For tickets at the local/student rate, please upload an appropriate document to verify your identity (local ID, student ID, etc.).

  3. Go to the checkout.
  4. You can either log in, register for future orders or order as a guest without logging in. If you order as a guest, we still need your e-mail address. This is the only way we can send you the voucher and/or proof of payment.
  5. Please check your order again and click to proceed to payment.
  6. Select payment method and pay for ticket. Possible means of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PostFinance.
  7. Thank you for your purchase! You will receive your payment receipt and, if applicable, a voucher by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us immediately at .
  8. During your visit to Pizol:If you bought your ticket as a "voucher", you can exchange the voucher you received by email for a ticket at the ticket machine, at the pick-up box or at the ticket office at the valley stations. If you have loaded the ticket onto your SwissPass or onto an existing Pizol chip card using the WTP number, the authorization will be loaded directly onto your selected card in the background and you can go straight to the turnstile. Please hold your card against the turnstile for a few seconds on first contact to update the authorization. The data is loaded from the cloud, so it may take a moment.

Instructions for buying subscriptions

  1. Select the desired category, click on the travelcard and add the corresponding person type to the shopping cart.
    Note: Subscriptions at the local/student rate require a corresponding document to be uploaded for verification. The local rate applies to residents with a valid local ID card from the municipalities of Bad Ragaz, Fläsch, Jenins, Maienfeld, Mels, Pfäfers, Sargans, Vilters-Wangs and Wartau.
  2. Log in or create an account.
  3. Check the subscription in the shopping cart, assign the owner to the ticket and upload a photo. To continue with the order, you have the following options here:

    Voucher: You don't have a WTP ticket (day or season ticket from Pizol) yet? Then choose the "Voucher" option. After completing your order, you will receive a voucher which you can later exchange for your chip card at the ticket office at the valley stations.

    Top up your ticket: Do you already have a Pizol subscription card? Then select "Top up ticket" and enter the 15-digit WTP number. This can be found on the back in a white field at the top left (see illustration on the right). There is no "O" in the WTP number, it is always "0" (= zero).
