Please be careful - snow groomers with cable winches in use!

Time and again, we notice that snow sports enthusiasts are on our closed pistes outside of operating hours, putting themselves in great danger. Preparing slopes with winch ropes is life-threatening for people in the working area of the snow groomers and can be fatal. The machine can be up to one kilometer away from the actual anchor point of the rope and the rope is difficult to see, especially in the dark. In addition, when the machine turns or moves to another section of the slope, the rope can very quickly "shift" under high tension and then whip back and forth over several meters. Please heed the warnings and follow the instructions of our staff.
