In recent years, the Pizol has developed very well in terms of tourism, particularly in the summer months. The reason for this is the wide range of offers on the mountain and a summer season lasting around 180 days. For the 2nd time in 2023, the "Tourism Sentiment Index" (TSI) analyzed data from over 500,000 online platforms, forums and all major social media platforms including all major review sites (Tripadvisor, etc.). The Tourism Sentiment Index analyzed 1.6 billion publicly accessible online conversations and content from over 21,000 global destinations. No one paid to be named. No survey suggested a response. This list was compiled by word of mouth, unsolicited and unbiased.
The TSI not only records the quantity of conversations, but also the quality and assesses how positively a destination is talked about. This results in the Tourism Sentiment Score, which is the percentage of "supporters" minus the percentage of "critics". The conversations that are neutral form the delta to the total.
