March 22, 2024 | 20:00 - 22:30 | Pizolhütte-Furt
Spend the full moon night on the mountain and enjoy a ski or snowboard descent in the moonlight.
If the moon is full - and the weather is good - you stay on the mountain after the regular operation and spend a cozy evening with an aperitif and dinner in the Pizolhütte. Accompanied by a Pizolbahnen employee, the group then rides back to Furt, where the gondola lift takes you back to the valley station in Wangs. If you prefer to extend your night skiing a little longer, you can then let off steam on the floodlit night skiing slope between Furt and Maienberg. The restaurants on Furt are also still open and invite you to enjoy a cozy nightcap. The last descent with the gondola lift to Wangs is at 22:30.
The moonlight descent can only be booked for skiers/snowboarders. It is not possible to return to the valley on foot from the Pizolhütte as the lifts are not in operation. The glow of the full moon will show you the way on the descent. However, it is still strongly recommended that you take a headlamp with you to provide additional light.
