Winter hiking & snowshoeing
Five winter hiking trails and one snowshoe trail are waiting to be discovered on the Pizol. The hikes lead through a fairytale winter landscape with a fascinating far-reaching view: from the Grisons and Glarus Alps over the St. Gallen Rhine Valley to Lake Constance.
The Pizol Panorama Höhenweg with the Tagweidlichopf at 2,275 m above sea level is not only the geographical highlight. The path stretches across the high plateau of the Pizol skiing and hiking area and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. For those who prefer a more sporty approach, the winter hiking trail or snowshoe trail from Pardiel to Laufböden covers an altitude difference of about 600 meters and is rewarded by the same alpine panorama at the top. For connoisseurs, the winter walks Graue Hörner or Prodkopf are ideal.
Note: Due to the operating permit we are not allowed to transport pedestrians and snowshoe walkers with the chairlift Schwamm! In general, winter hiking and snowshoeing is only recommended on the official, signposted routes. Professional guided tours offer unique experiences.
