Beggar's Path

From Pardiel, the legendary Beggar's Path leads past rare mountain flowers to the Pizol Hut. You will enjoy a sensational view of the Zanaital with the Zanaihorns.

From Pardiel the legendary Beggar's Path leads past rare mountain flowers over the Zanuz Tobel to Alp Tristeli. With a view of the impressive Calanda massif, the trail continues to Alp Lasa. There the ascent begins along the beautiful sunny slope to Lake Wangs at 2,227 m.a.s.l. and to the Pizol hut. On the whole beggar's path, with a bit of luck, chamois can be seen again and again. You also have a sensational view into the Zanaital with the Zanaihörner in the background. Arrived at the Pizol hut, you hike back to the Laufböden station, from where you can take the chairlift back to Pardiel and Bad Ragaz.

Hiking bus

In summer, when the weather is fine and the chairlifts are in operation, a free shuttle bus runs between the valley stations in Wangs and Bad Ragaz from 2:00 pm to bring you comfortably back to your starting point if you return to the valley on the other side. There is no fixed timetable, just register at the ticket office.
