Night Ski Touring Slope

The perfect training opportunity for ski tourers on Friday evenings - including a view over the sea of lights from Sarganserland.

While the night skiers and sledgers further down (between Furt and Maienberg) enjoy rapid descents, the marked ski slope 6 Furt-Gaffia is open for ski tourers every Friday evening. The slope is accessible from 6 p.m - 10 p.m. up to the Mugghütte. Afterwards the slope is closed for safety reasons for the preparation of the slopes!

Starting point is Furt, which can be reached easily with the Wangs gondola lift. There, about 311 vertical meters of ascent await you until you reach the Mugghütte at 1'833 m above sea level. Once you reach your destination, you will be rewarded with a view of the snow-covered winter landscape and a fabulous sea of lights high above the Rhine valley. The descent is on the regular ski run. The night ski touring slope on the Pizol is the ideal combination of training, nature experience and view.
