The Pizol area is only 60 minutes away from Zurich or St. Gallen by car or public transport. For guests from neighboring countries, we are only 45 minutes from Lake Constance or 75 minutes from Zurich Airport. The valley stations have a bus stop directly at the gondola lift.

Wangs valley station
From Sargans railroad station, take bus routes 429 or 430 to the Wangs, Pizolbahn stop. There are four buses per hour on weekdays and two buses per hour on Sundays.
Bad Ragaz valley station
From Bad Ragaz railroad station, take the Postbus (line 456) to the Bad Ragaz, Pizolbahn stop. The bus runs every half hour in the morning and evening, every hour over lunchtime and with larger gaps in between.
The Bad Ragaz local bus is included in the mountain railroad tickets in winter. In summer you need a valid ticket. The Bad Ragaz local bus is integrated into the Ostwind fare network (zone 382).
P+RAIL day pass at half price
Using public transport is something that we as a tourism organization also support. However, public transport connections are not ideal everywhere, especially at weekends. Our tip: park your car at one of the 600 or so SBB P+Rail stations and hop on the train to the Pizolbahnen. Arrival by car
The two valley stations are also accessible in winter without snow chains or other aids. Ideal accessibility via the A3 (Zurich-Chur) and the A13 (Bodensee-Sargans-Chur). The valley stations are well marked from the highway exit.
If you would like to travel with a rental car, as a guest of the Pizolbahnen you can even rent a car here for 10% less.
For the Wangs valley station, take the Sargans exit.

Parking spaces at the valley stations
There are plenty of parking spaces available for our guests at both valley stations.
At both valley stations the parking lot costs a flat rate of CHF 5.00 per day (free for 45 minutes). For overnight guests at Pizol, the parking fee is reduced to CHF 3.00 per day from the 3rd overnight stay.
A season parking ticket costs CHF 70.00 per season and CHF 90.00 for the whole year.
At the parking lot in Wangs, you can buy a parking ticket at the parking machine, which must be clearly visible behind the windscreen. You can also easily pay the parking fee using the EasyPark app.
2 parking spaces are reserved for people with disabilities at the Wangs valley station.
At the Wangs parking lot, EW Vilters-Wangs provides four charging stations for electric cars.
When you enter the parking lot in Bad Ragaz, you will receive a ticket at the barrier, which you can pay at the ticket machine (card payment only) or at the cash desk before leaving.
There are 8 parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities at the Bad Ragaz valley station.
We also have two SAK charging stations for electric cars in Bad Ragaz.
Motorhome parking space
At our valley station in Bad Ragaz, we offer public motorhome pitches in a quiet yet central location during the summer season. Thanks to the fields that line the site and the forest in the background, you can enjoy peace and quiet and a nature experience with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The pitch is the ideal starting point for excursions in the region and of course the Pizol area. Bad Ragaz can be reached by car or post bus in just 5 minutes.
The parking space can be used for a maximum of 2 consecutive nights (CHF 19.00 per night and vehicle excl. visitor's tax). Overnight guests on the pitch benefit from a 20% discount on selected mountain railway tickets (cannot be combined with other discounts). Toilets, fresh water, snack vending machines, WLAN and faeces toilets are available. The pitch is open from around the beginning of May to the end of October, only during the summer season of the Pizol cable cars. Payment for the pitch and visitor's tax can be made during the regular opening hours of the Pizolbahnen ticket offices.
