Toboggan run Maienberg - Wangs

Double the tobogganing fun in Wangs: in very good snow conditions, the Furt - Maienberg toboggan run can be extended almost (!) into the valley.
Extend your toboggan run from Furt to Maienberg almost (!) as far as Wangs. In very good snow conditions, we can extend the regular toboggan run from Furt to Maienberg by almost half. At 6 km, the toboggan run is then one of the longest toboggan runs in Eastern Switzerland.
The Maienberg - Wangs section is very challenging. This section is therefore only recommended for experienced sledgers aged 18 and over. The upper section between the ford and Maienberg is recommended for beginners and families with children.
Good equipment and an adapted riding style can prevent accidents. We recommend wearing a helmet at all times when sledging. Please also observe the rules of conduct and the information brochure "Tobogganing safely" from the BFU Accident Prevention Bureau (see download area).
For safety reasons, sledging is only permitted as far as the hamlet of Tuggenboden. This is the official end of the toboggan run! From there you have to walk the last stretch to the valley station in Wangs (approx. 1 km). Sledging on the ski slope is expressly forbidden.
Schönbüel Inn
This cozy mountain inn is located on the Maienberg, right next to the ski slope and hiking trails. Claudia and Marcel Kohli invite you to take a break and spoil their guests with a varied menu of food and drinks.
