The winter hiking trail leads from Pardiel via Obersäss, Schwamm Lift and Wissi Stei to Laufböden, colloquially known as "Point 22", at 2,222 m above sea level. During the ascent, it is not only the view up into the snow-covered mountain landscape that is impressive, it is also worth looking back down into the valley, where you can enjoy a fascinating panoramic view over the St. Gallen Rhine Valley as far as Lake Constance.
The Laufbodenstübli mountain restaurant awaits you on Laufböden and, in addition to delicious food and drinks, will spoil you with a cozy sun terrace and a great view. If you want to extend the hike, you can also add the Pizol Panorama Höhenweg as a one-hour walk on the high plateau.
