Experience summer on the Pizol

The Pizol is more than "just" about hiking. You can go hiking, climbing, sports fishing, paragliding, mountain biking, enjoy good food...

In the summer, the Pizol is a popular area for hiking from the valley floor up to the Pizol summit at 2,844 m above sea level as the highlight. In between, the Pizolbahnen provide access to over 120 km of hiking trails: from the family-friendly Heidi trail to the demanding 5-Lakes hike, for which you should allow up to five hours of hiking time.

At over 2,220 metres above sea level, the Pizol Panorama mountain trail is a 3-kilometre long circular route with a small difference in altitude making it a pleasure for walkers, too.

The Pizol is also a popular destination for climbers (in the Twärchamm climbing garden), paragliders, mountain bikers and sports enthusiasts.

Twelve restaurants and mountain huts offer a variety of dining options on the Pizol with fantastic views of the Alps.

There are seven mountain hotels, three mountain guest houses, several mountain cabins, holiday homes and chalets offering over 800 beds for overnight accommodation.
