Transporting your mountain bike

Your mountain bike will be transported safely and reliably on all the Pizol Railway lifts.

Wangs side

Wangs – Furt gondola lift (approx. 15 min.)
Furt – Gaffia cable car (approx. 10 min.)
Gaffia – Pizolhütte cable car (approx. 10 min.)

Bad Ragaz side

Bad Ragaz - Pardiel gondola lift (approx. 15 min.)
Pardiel – Laufböden cable car (approx. 10 min.)

Costs

There is a surcharge for mountain bikes, in addition to the normal price for pedestrians. You have 3 options for purchasing a Bike Ticket:

one ride to the top in the Pizol region (from any lift): CHF 5.00 per bike
Three rides to the top in the Pizol region (from any lift): CHF 15.00 per bike (still valid the following day)
Summer season pass unlimited number of rides to the top in the Pizol region (from any lift): CHF 65.00 per bike

Rules for cyclists on the Pizol

Transporting your bike

By purchasing a Bike Transport Ticket, you automatically confirm that you accept the rules of conduct for cyclists. You furthermore confirm that you will bear the liability for any damages you cause. Pizolbahnen refuses all liability for damages that arise during the transport of your bike.

Signals and instructions

Every cyclist has to follow the signals and instructions of the train staff. Vehicles and hikers have right of way where the forest routes cross with the hiking trails.
