6.) Hammock Forest
Before Heidi came to Alpöhi, old Ursel looked after her. Ursel could barely hear, was often cold, and spent most of her time by the stove. But sometimes, when the weather was nice, she went into the forest with Heidi and me, stretching a hammock between two trees. Then she would lie down with Heidi and tell stories about living trees or sing her to sleep.
Lie down and sing a song, tell yourself a story. A cloud drifts in the sky—enjoy or write poetry!
