Hike 1
A fairly easy and wonderful snowshoe hike!
Take the mountain railroads from Bad Ragaz to Pardiel. Now it's downhill, always with a fantastic view either over the sea of fog in the Rhine Valley, or even as far as Lake Constance. The trail now winds its way across snow-covered meadows, around scattered farms to the Postbus stop at the imposing Tamina bridge.
Hiking time: 3 hours
Ascent: 150m
Descent: 900m

Hike 2
The more challenging one!
Here, too, you get a head start with the mountain railroad: from Wangs to Maienberg. You're about to set off through a fairytale forest and across snow-covered alpine meadows up to the summit of the Garmil. The magnificent view rewards you for everything. The route now descends over the broad ridge in the swirling snow, back through the winter forest to Maienberg.
Hiking time: 5 1/2 - 6 hours
Ascent and descent: 1000m
