Start of the
hiking and excursion season

On Saturday, May 25, 2024, we will start the summer season with the daily operation of the Bad Ragaz gondola lift. The Edelweiss panorama restaurant will also open its doors and sun terrace at the same time. Visitors can look forward to an attractive range of hiking experiences and attractions around the mountain station of the gondola lift on Pardiel at the start of the season.

Family highlight Heidi Trail
A great experience for the whole family! The Heidi experience begins at the valley station in Bad Ragaz, where small goat pens point to the Heidi Trail. The first highlight for children is the gondola ride in one of the decorated Heidi gondolas. The various stations offer plenty of variety, games and fun for the whole family. The leisurely circular trail leads past various attractions such as the barefoot path with children's Kneipp facility, the hammock forest and the goat jump. There are also playgrounds, barbecue areas and a magnificent viewpoint.

New air trampoline on Pardiel
The playground at the Panoramarestaurant Edelweiss has been further upgraded. The large "bouncy cushion" invites young and old to balance, bounce and jump. The disc golf course has also been set up. On a total of 9 baskets, everyone from beginners to experts can try their hand at the throwing lanes. Six of the baskets are easy to intermediate. The course is extended by 3 further baskets, which also meet higher requirements.

So much hiking happiness on the Pizol
The hiking experiences on the Pizol are as varied as the natural landscape. The spectrum ranges from legendary to ambitious to leisurely and family-friendly. In addition to the aforementioned Heidi Trail, the Bettler Trail, the Edelweiss Trail, the Suntigweid Trail and the short hike from Pardiel to the Prodkopf viewpoint are open at the start of the season. The first trails are also open for mountain bike and trail running fans after the snowy winter. The summer timetable
From Saturday, June 29, 2024, all five summer lifts on the Pizol will be in operation up to and including Sunday, October 20, 2024. In Bad Bad Ragaz, daily summer operation will end a week later and, with a little luck with the weather, nothing will stand in the way of an extension until mid-November (at weekends and on public holidays).
