The starting point of this exciting bike tour is the spa town of Bad Ragaz, famous for its healing thermal waters from the Tamina Gorge. A relaxed ride through the Sarganserland region with views of the imposing Gonzen. From Wangs, the challenging ascent begins along the left edge of the Weisstannental valley to Alp Unter Precht. There, a breathtaking view opens up of the Weisstannen Valley, with the majestic Foostock in the background, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Tectonic Arena Sardona". The trail leads through lush forests and green pastures to the highest point of the tour, Alp Gamidaur. The following descent is undoubtedly the highlight of the route: it leads through impressive landscapes (Churfirsten, Alvier, Sarganserland, Rhine Valley), wild forests and natural paths, along a mountain road, a wonderful single trail and finally past the Freudenberg ruins back to Bad Ragaz.
