Early start to the winter season

The Pizolbahnen will start the 2025/26 winter season in Wangs next weekend, November 22 and 23, 2025, with a partial weekend operation. Thanks to the early onset of winter and ideal conditions for the powerful new snowmaking system, skiing operations can start much earlier than usual - with good slope conditions and more fresh snow forecast.

Attractive offer at the start of the season
The Wangs-Furt gondola lift and the two chairlifts Furt-Gaffia and Gaffia-Pizolhütte will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday. The range of slopes is based on the progress of technical snowmaking and includes the main slopes from the Pizolhütte to Furt. Guests benefit from a 25% discount on the normal rate for day ski passes on the opening weekend. Operations start at 8:15 am on both days with the first ascent on the Wangs gondola lift.

Culinary kick-off
The Pizolhütte and the "alpina24pizol" on Furt are also open for the start of the season and will spoil guests with a small, fine menu and an appealing range of drinks.
