Crossing Switzerland is stopping at Pizol. On July 19, 2026, experience the thrill of trail running up close at the Pizol Hut and cheer on some 400 athletes as they make their way across Switzerland.
When endurance, adventure, and alpine nature come together, the route leads over the Pizol: On Sunday, July 19, 2026, the first stage of Crossing Switzerland will stop at the Pizol Hut.
This multi-day trail running adventure takes around 400 runners across Switzerland—from Bad Ragaz to Montreux. On the first stage, participants can expect a challenging section through the stunning mountain landscape of the Pizol. The Pizol Hut serves as the first aid station along the route.
The runners are expected to arrive at the Pizol Hut starting at 9:45 a.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere firsthand and cheer on the athletes as they make their way through the Swiss Alps.
Crossing Switzerland combines top-level athletic performance with breathtaking natural scenery and is one of the most extraordinary trail running events in the country.
