There are many attractions on this day. Once again, the flight group invites pilots to take part in the costume flying competition in crazy costumes. The Pizolbahnen offer all pilots discounted tickets at the local rate. A shuttle bus takes pilots and passengers directly to the railway. In the Testival, various providers provide information and tests. And: The flight group shows its guest pilots in an area briefing "the many possibilities for flights in our great flying area". Because, as the OC writes: "The Pizol offers up to 1700 metres of altitude difference, easy entry into the thermals and thus unique sightseeing and cross-country flights."

Pizol opening flies
On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Pizol Paragliding and Hang Gliding Club will once again host its air show. The public is warmly invited to attend.
Tandem flights and festival restaurant
In the meantime, interested spectators and guests can take off on a tandem flight and, of course, a "proper festival restaurant" will be available at the landing site as a meeting place to watch, marvel and talk shop.
