Duet of Summits Combination Pizol + Hochwart

Climb the most prominent peaks of the Pizol area. The summit duet is part of the summit quartet, which consists of the Pizol summit, Hochwart, Gamidauerspitz and Garmil. The combination Pizol + Hochwart is the more demanding of the two partial hikes.

Majestically, the Pizol rises up to 2'844 m above sea level above our diverse recreation area. On this tour we experience the famous Wildsee, the striking mountain peaks in the background and the stony crater of the former Pizol glacier from different perspectives. From the summit of the Pizol, we can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the mountains of St. Gallen, Grisons and Glarus. From the Hochwart there is an impressive view of the Schottensee, the Schwarzplangg, the Pizol summit and the Gaffara valley, where up to 600 sheep graze in the summer months.

Gipfelquartett - The Complete Tour

In the summit quartet, the Garmil, the Gamidauerspitz, the Hochwart and the Pizol are climbed. As the highest peak at 2,844 m above sea level and eponym of the area, the Pizol peak is the highlight of the tour. On the way, however, you will also be enchanted by crystal-blue mountain lakes, scree landscapes that seem out of this world, romantic alps and, with a bit of luck, even chamois, ibex or eagles. Nowhere can you enjoy the view as undisturbed as on the highest peaks of the Pizol skiing and hiking area. All information about the summit quartet can be found here.

Summit Duet Combination Garmil + Gamidauerspitz

With the two summit duets in the Pizol area, the possibility opens up to split the demanding summit quartet tour into two halves. All information about the summit duet variant Garmil+ Gamidauerspitz can be found here.
