The preparations are complete and anticipation is high: on Friday, December 12, 2025, we will kick off the snow sports season (daily skiing) at Pizol for the first time this winter with all facilities open.

Daily skiing in Wangs

On Friday, December 5, 2025, we will start daily rail and ski operations in Wangs. The Wangs-Furt gondola lift, the Furt-Gaffia and Gaffia-Pizolhütte chairlifts, the SAC lift, and the Furt practice lift will be in operation.

Start of the ski season

The Pizolbahnen will start the 2025/26 winter season next weekend, November 22 and 23, 2025, with a partial weekend operation in Wangs.

Expansion of snowmaking in Wangs

Snowmaking 4.0: Another milestone has been reached! In summer 2025, another stage of the "Snowmaking 4.0" project was realized and successfully completed.

Winter is here and the slopes are in perfect condition. From Sunday to Tuesday morning, Mrs. Holle is really putting her foot down again. If the forecasts are to be believed, another meter of fresh snow is likely to be added, which will allow us to continuously expand our offer.

Suva held a company ski day with around 50 invited guests on the Pizol. In fantastic weather, the prevention work was presented in the village and in workshops, and a lot of background knowledge about snow sports was imparted.
